Stratus Haze

Awakened, silent sleepers levitate unshackled
from their slavery to the earth.

Illusion, overtones of light emit from eyes imprisoned,
a pungent lack of vision in this dream of night.

Enraptured, dirges moan in deep delight upon ascendence,
as obsidian thrones of the incorruptible dissolve.

Sense, where all untruths begin to gain a psyche's will,
and form intolerable densities within nature's homonym.

Ethered, once again resolved to die with hearts of fire,
encased in crystalline desire, perhaps one day more towards awakening.
